Shin Gaurds

Project Description
The goal of this project is to produce custom shin guards for soccer players that are are lightweight, comfortable and secure and engineed to maximize protection for lower leg. The contour and form of the prototype is based on digital asset capture of the soccer players body part using 3D imaging technologies.

With our access scanning, CAD and fabrication tools we will design and fabricate the  the first prototype and are tasked with the following:

CAD Modeling based on external body form (the mesh model) and the design engineering considerations ie. performance, weight, and ergonomics
